After messing around with motion capture, I decided to write my own version of it. Then I decided to connect it to my xbox controller.
Eventually, I ended up with a program that I could control my game and my controller only using a webcam and some cleverly written software!
I wrote this program live on twitch over the span of 3 different streams!
I've played Halo 5 professionally, but I've noticed certain flaws with the game. I attempted to make a program to fix these flaws, and I named the project Kalmiya, after the name of an AI from Halo lore.
The program enables the user to change the FOV, FPS, HUD, and other performance and customization features of the game. It also adds the ability to use Halo on an Ultrawide screen.
An example of modifications being made to the HUD and customization features is shown on the right.
One of the resources we can never get back is time. I've always desired to make complex processes easier, faster, and simpler. I've tested different uses for automation in video processing and creation for content in social media.
Projects I've made relating to automation include:
Embedded on the left is a video and thumbnail that was made entirely using my program. The only thing I did was upload it to YouTube!
I wanted to get used to working with APIs and data, and at the same time I also wanted to improve my skill level at Halo Infinite. That created a project to view your game statistics and help players to improve by showcasing your skills.
In my project, you could track accuracy, K/D, CSR rank, MMR rank, and the last 10 games you played. I also added a feature to pull all past games and display not only your stats, but also the stats of other players in your game.
